Annoying customers are annoying. These are times I met the most notable customers and shoppers when I worked at the UPS store. I thought working in food jobs would be worse but I think I had a worse time in the UPS store. Looking back now I think it was funny. In the moment though it was less of that and more annoying. Crazy customers be crazy. And I imagine people working in retail now have even crazier stories from the past year. My stories are from years ago.

It's crazy how much high schoolers work and it's totally normalized. 7 hours of school a day for 5 days plus maybe 15 hours of part time work and easily 10-20 hours and even more of homework. That's easily 60-70 hours a week for a teenager.
@Conner Wilson Suicide rates are in a all time high because people dont find ameaningto their life and they wont by being useless idiots or not going outside, the fact that the suicide rates skyrocketed in young people in the pandemic because they coulnt go out proves all of it.
@Ayy Lmao rates of depression and suicide are at an all time high, especially among high school students. As a teenager your mind is going through crucial development and you're pressured by everyone around you to live a certain way. You barely understand what you want in life and it's become an extremely stressful time for students. Unless you were a perfect teenager growing up, this sort of life style is not normal. My senior year of high school alone two kids killed themselves. I wouldn't doubt it was because of the immense stress they had in their lives at such a young age. All it takes is a single act to push you over the edge, like a breakup or act of embarrassment in front of your classmates

At my last retail job i was manning the exit to make sure people left per covid restrictions, and we had just started out closedown routine when somebody walked right on in past me and disappeared into the area rug display section. I didn't get paid enough to deal with it so i just called my manager and started helping my coworkers get ready to go home
